Villemot was a French graphic designer known for his iconic advertising images. Producing art for French magazines and street advertising he is considered one of the most distinguished poster artists of his time.

His Posters for soft drink Orangina were particularly iconic. This print includes the orange peel swirl motif that he developed (to solve the prohibited depiction of fruit on advertising for drinks with less that 20% fruit content) and carried through many posters for Orangina for over thirty years. and its vibrant colours is absolutely made for a kitchen or holiday home.
