This French stamp illustrated by an unknown artist celebrates publishr and trade unionist Yvon Chotard (1921-1998). Chotard founded the civic action movement ‘Young French Economic Chamber’ recruiting younger members to train professionals to set up local projects.

The stamp depicts the region of La Madeleine (Nord) where Chotard was born. Its soft blues would look great on a yellow, pale pink or off white wall.
