Van Gough - Patch of Grass
Van Gough - Patch of Grass
A son of a Protestant pastor Vincent van Gogh very nearly went into the Ministry. However, his literal interpretation of Christianity saw him rejected and it was then that he devoted his attentions to bring consolation to people through his art. He developed his own pallet of light colours and used distinctive brushstrokes that posthumously saw him become one of the most influential Post-Impressionist painters in art history.
We have split this Patch of grass into a Polyptych to fully appreciate how each brush stoke depicts a blade of grass, petal or stem. Both vibrant and calming this would be perfect for over a bed or in a living room.
Approximate size of the piece of art when hung:
w: 195cm x h: 142cm.
We have selected a textured green gilt frame for this print. Please contact us if you would prefer one of our other frames.
